Anybody who says “Food is just fuel” is massively missing out
My new friend Sanjay shared with me some of his wife’s incredible Indian cooking, and we proceeded to spend the next hour and a half talking about food, culture, history and travel.
Anyone who says “food is just fuel” is living a joyless life around food, and I feel sorry for them.
So many people spend their lives trapped in a tortured relationship with food, ridden with guilt, angst, shame and suffering.
And the irony is, it’s only making their struggles with health and weight worse.
Eating can be such a sensual and pleasurable experience, heightened by meaningful connection to other human beings.
I’m here to take a sledgehammer to this ridiculous myth that the only way to lose weight is to torture yourself into a miserable and joyless existence.
Diets suck. They absolutely suck all the joy out of life. No wonder people “fail” at them.
It’s not because they’re weak or lack discipline and willpower … It’s because diets SUCK. And no one should have to suffer their way to a joyless existence around food.
Not when that would mean missing out on incredible life experiences like connecting with a new friend over a shared love of cuisine.
So, maybe what I’m telling you here is challenging some deeply held beliefs. That’s ok, I don’t blame you. People should be skeptical after all the BS they’ve been fed by a predatory weight loss industry.
It flies in the face of what we’ve been told for the last 5 decades or more.
If you’re ready to rediscover the joy of food, eating and life (and, along the way, lose some weight without dieting), I’d love to chat with you.
After our conversation, you might want to cry at all the wasted years of struggle, and that’s ok. But, what I’d love even more is for you to be ecstatic over the amazing future that lies ahead for you.
One where diets aren’t even an afterthought, they literally don’t even come to mind anymore.
One where you love sitting down to enjoy a meal, stress-free and guilt-free.
Where family dinners don’t cause anxiety. Where grocery shopping doesn’t feel like a tug-of-war between cravings and guilt.
I get excited thinking about the freedom my clients enjoy.
It would be the understatement of the century for me to say that I love what I do 🤩.
So, let’s make this an absolute no-brainer. If you want to hop on a free 20-minute chat with me this week, I’ve got 3 spots open.
Just shoot me a message saying “I’m done with diets” and we’ll make it happen.
You will leave that call with absolute clarity on exactly what is standing between you and a body you love, peace with food, and never living in nutrition prison again.
So, whaddya say?
Keep struggling in a joyless relationship with food feeling trapped and miserable?
Nah, not when you could be enjoying life and food with a level of freedom you didn’t think possible 😀
All you gotta do is say “I’m done with diets” and your journey to freedom starts!
