“YOUR HEAD LOOKS SO SKINNY!!”
“Your head looks so SKINNY” my wife exclaimed, when she saw the photo … (below)
I didn’t realize how stark the contrast until I saw this photo from 2 years ago … I was nearly 290lbs, suffering from major stress, high blood pressure, and in pain most days
It was also just after that first picture was taken, that I swallowed my ego, and hired a coach to help me. It turned out to be a life-changing decision.
I thought he was going to tell me what a fat loser I was, and prescribe me a meal plan, and tell me to stop being a lazy slob, because that’s how I felt about myself, and how I talked to myself.
The last thing I expected was to get compassion, especially from another male coach. Compassion. Patience. Support. Accountability. Permission to struggle and fail. A helping hand to pick me up when I got down on myself and wanted to quit.
He didn’t realize it at the time, but he was guiding me through one of the most difficult years I would ever live through. And the mind-boggling part for me was … even in the year when it felt like everything was crumbling around me, we got results.
Here I am almost 2 years later, and I’m still reaping the benefits of the time I spent working with him.
His influence reshaped my entire approach to coaching. Never again was I going to give people “diets”.
A couple of times a year, I run a 7-Day Fat Loss Challenge, and over and over again, I hear from the participants “I was skeptical, I never thought this ‘no-diet’ approach could work” … and then they go on to lose 2lbs, 3lbs, 5lbs, even 8lbs! That’s just in one of my 7-Day Fat Loss Challenges. When you see clients losing 50lbs …. losing 75lbs … then you start to realize the power of Lifestyle-180, my “No FN Diets” fat loss program, that produces incredible results.
Look, I get it. Dieting is still deeply ingrained in our culture. It’s been a part of our collective psyche for decades.
But it’s a broken paradigm. Diets don’t work. They produce a cycle of constant failure. Which is good for the $80 Billion diet industry. Repeat customers are good for business. But it’s terrible for people who suffer and just wish the weight could be gone FOREVER.
How would your life be different if you not only lost 30, 50, even 70lbs … But NEVER had to diet again?
That’s why so many of my clients call it “Life-changing”. Isn’t it time you got life-changing results?
