Let's cut to the chase: You likely joined because you want to improve your body composition (weight loss and/or inches lost).

1. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY RESULTS?
If you actively participate, it’s reasonable to expect to see between 12-24lbs (4-10kg) of weight loss, and/or 4-6 inches (10-15cm) lost from waist measurement over the course of 6 months (dependent on how much weight you have to lose). You might see more than that, but real life doesn’t stop while you participate in a challenge, and we can’t predict when you might hit a plateau for a week or two.

2. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “DO THE WORK?”
In order for results to be guaranteed, you must complete the full program, and participate in each of the weekly challenges, lessons and check-ins. (In real life, you actually have to participate and do the work, results don’t just come from the wish fairy.)

3. HOW DO WE MEASURE “RESULTS”?
Results aren’t just an “I think …” Or an “I feel …” We actually need some objective hard data, because humans are notoriously bad estimators, and feelings are very subjective.

4. THE BEFORE
You must submit initial progress photos, measurements, and weigh-in, (as per the guidelines in the welcome pack) by the Friday of the first week of starting the program (There will be a questionnaire in your schedule for this), otherwise we have nothing to compare before and after to.

5. DURING
Every 4 weeks, you will submit progress photos, measurements and weigh-ins with the weekly check-in. This is a form of accountability, to help keep you on track, and see if adjustments are needed. (This will appear on your schedule in the client portal to remind you)

6. THE AFTER
You must also submit final progress photos, measurements, and weigh-in, (as per the guidelines in the welcome pack) within 3 days of completing the program (otherwise we have nothing to compare before and after to).

7. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “GUARANTEED”?
If, at the end of the 6-month program, you have fully participated, as outlined in point 2, and you haven’t seen the minimum results outlined in point 1, you will be offered an opportunity to re-do Lifestyle 180 free of charge or have your money refunded.

8. WHY THE “RULES”, BRO?
Because, while you’re probably a good person, there are people out there who want something for nothing. Real life doesn’t work like that.

9. THE FINAL WORD
If you don’t do the work, or quit before the program is done, I can’t guarantee results. Period. Nothing in the program is accidental, it’s there for a reason. But, if you fully participate, I guarantee you will see results.

THE SLIGHTLY MORE DETAILED VERSION:

We usually participate in programs such as these with the primary goal of losing weight and/or improving body composition. There are additional benefits such as education, better lifestyle habits, more energy, better sleep and so on, but when we talk about results, we are usually looking for a measureable metric, such as weight lost or inches lost.

1. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY GUARANTEED RESULTS?
It’s reasonable and safe to expect to be able to lose on average 0.5-1lb of fat per week. Over the course of 24 weeks, this would translate into 12-24lbs of weight loss. It’s not unusual to see more than this, however, there will be times when unexpected circumstances come up that may slow or impede progress.

It’s also possible that you may not lose weight, however your body composition will change and this is reflected in measurements. You should see at least 4-6 inches (10-15cm) lost from waist measurement

If you get hurt or sick and must withdraw due to serious medical complications, you’ll be offered a spot in the next round. Getting sick does not mean that you must withdraw, in most circumstances, it will simply mean that during that period we make some adjustments based on what’s going on.

2. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PARTICIPATION?
In order to guarantee results, it is necessary that you fully participate in the key components of the program.

They are not extremely rigorous or time intensive. Each week, you must complete these tasks.

  • Bi-Weekly Challenges: These typically take between 10-15 minutes, though some people may spend more time on them. You must complete all 12 of these.
  • Bi-Weekly Email Lesson: usually less than 10 minutes to read. You must open and read all 12 of these.
  • Bi-Weekly Video Lesson: between 8-15 minutes. You must watch all 12 of these.
  • Weekly Progress Check-in: 5-10 minutes. You must complete all 24 of these. (Initial, 22 weekly, and Final check-in)

There are additional opportunities for participation, including monthly workouts, weekly fitness and nutrition challenges, as well as daily opportunities to check in with the Facebook group.

If you don’t participate, I can’t guarantee results. Just like buying a gym membership doesn’t produce results, you still have to consistently show up to the gym and do the work.

3. HOW DO WE MEASURE “RESULTS”?
Results aren’t just an “I think …” Or an “I feel …” We actually need some hard data, because humans are notoriously bad estimators. Emotions and feelings are very subjective, and we need an objective (unbiased) method of tracking results.

You aren’t required to submit progress tracking metrics (weight, progress photos, measurements) in order to participate in the challenge. But if we don’t have any starting data, we can’t guarantee results.

You might be in the program for the education, lifestyle changes, and many other benefits provided, and that’s absolutely fine.

7.1. Money back refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you start this program looking for a reason to fail, you have already lost.  You need skin in the game.  You need to be at risk of losing something if you don’t do the work.  Our results guarantee is based on the expectation that you show up and participate.  If you don’t show up, if you don’t participate, and you’re unhappy with your lack of results, that is not a failure of our coaching or program.

8. WHY THE “RULES”, BRO?
Because, while you’re probably a good person, there are people out there who want something for nothing. Real life doesn’t work like that. If you sign up, thinking that results will just magically appear without you putting in effort, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. Coaching is not me doing the work for you, it’s me making sure your time and effort are spent in the best and most efficient way possible.
