61-Year-Old Linda Lost 22lbs and 16 inches in Lifestyle-180!
Another one of my “Silver Superstars”, Linda is another grandmother who, at 61, said “I’m tired of getting old, so I’m going to do something about it!”
Linda rocked Lifestyle-180, dropping 22lbs and 16 inches! She’s quite proud of her awesome legs!
I asked her how she felt about me calling her a “Silver Superstar”, and she said:
“Jon, 1st off I love being called your silver superstar as that is what I am! I couldn’t have done this without you and your talents to keeping me together!”
Before Lifestyle-180 Linda said: “My legs hurt, my back hurts, all kinds of aches and pains. I had smoked from the time I was 13 years old. I want to be around for my grandkids so I can enjoy being a Gramma!“
And so, Linda took the leap and signed up for Lifestyle-180! (She says I kind of remind her of Seth Rogan, perhaps that helped haha)
We introduced some simple, but powerful changes into her daily routine. Nothing overwhelming, but simple things she could accomplish each day.
She even took the step of getting a gym membership and learning how to lift weights!
She says “I saw this ‘elderly’ lady at the gym. I was on the last bit and doing some ball rolling for glutes and this lady was beside me doing her leg stretches.
“I thought OMG look at that old lady beating me in silly leg lifts, then I hoped I’d be like her at that age! It is all coming together.
Seeing that woman helped me realize it can be done and I’ll be one of those ladies that a younger person will see and have the same reaction I did.”
Linda has been a wonderful inspiration to me, and she’s got lots of fantastic reasons to continue, especially once things open up again, because she’s got more energy to keep up with her grandkids!
Linda, I couldn’t be more proud of you, it’s been such a pleasure working with you, and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the months and years ahead!
